Day 65: Wednesday, August 14

It was a nice ride from Whycocomagh to North Sydney. There were no shoulders; however, the hills were reasonable and the traffic minimal. Well, there was one hill that seemed to go on forever. Sweat was dripping off of us when we finally made it to the top! Although, we avoided going over Kelly’s Mountain, which we’ve heard crazy stories about!

We just missed the evening ferry so we stopped for dinner. The restaurant was out of everything we ordered, which was kind of a bummer. After a day of riding, we are always starving and we get our minds set on what we are craving. And, they only had warm beer.

At the ferry terminal, the staff were awesome. Security arranged it so we could camp beside the main building. There were also showers and free wi-fi (that actually works)!

Tomorrow we make it to our tenth and final province: Newfoundland!

Today we travelled 95 km.
